Gyobu Nashiji - (Japanese Lacquer) Dense aventurine. Nashiji in which the metal flakes are larger and more irregular than ordinary and are individually set into the wet lacquer, rather than sprinkled, minimizing the spaces between the flakes. In some cases the Nashiji is first covered with gold leaf.
